Lynmouth and Lynton are a real haven of outdoor activities of all kinds, with excellent places to try canoeing, kayaking and mountain biking in North Devon. You could also try a spot of sea fishing however, with the rockier parts of the nearby coast or the river mouth well worth a cast; night fishing is best for bass, or try light tackle for the mullet.

The Lynton and Lynmouth Railway is always popular, offering a nostalgic taste of the past with restored steam engines and spectacular views.
